Robert Sherman Ontiveros' Obituary
Robert “Bobby” Ontiveros passed away December 21, 2014. Robert was born to Andrew and Marian Ontiveros on April 30, 1954, at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised and lived throughout his life in Midvale, Utah. Robert graduated from Hillcrest High School and was employed in the parts department at Larry H. Miller Ford for many years. Robert loved music and was a talented guitarist; his favorite band was the Eagles. He was also an avid fan of the Utah Jazz, The Utes, and NASCAR. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marian, his brother, Andrew Ontiveros, and his sister Kathy (Gene) Gipson. Robert is survived by his sisters, Debbie (Larry) Stark, Julie (Rusty) Henderson, and his four children: Joel Buhecker, Alicia Buhecker, Robert Buhecker, and Sarah Buhecker Strang, as well as son-in-law, Jared Strang, and one granddaughter, Madison. Friends and associates are invited to join his family at a celebration of Robert’s life, which will be held on January 2, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 240 East 7570 South, Midvale, Utah, 84047.
