We were so saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. Wayne was a huge example of hard work, patience, and service. Our son was often invited to join the family when they took their ATV's out riding. We really appreciated the family including our son since Rick's dad had to work on Saturdays and could seldom join them. Wayne and Jean's example made a lasting impression on us. Jean, we hope you and your family will find comfort in all the special memories you shared with Wayne. We are sorry we did not know about Wayne until after His Service. You are in our prayers.

Sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Such a sweet man. We loved his story of "the lightening" in Primary, in the Midvale ward. Love sent your way Jean!! Xoxo!

Words can not begin to express the impact that Wayne has had on my life. The friendship that we shared in our time working side by side for nearly 18 years made that time a richer and more meaningful experience. We had many long talks about what was important mostly about family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Wayne has such a love for his family and the Gospel. I learned a lot from his devotion to his family and his example of what a husband and a father should be. I will never forget his kindness and friendship to me and my family. I love Wayne and his influence will never be forgotten.

We absolutely love this dear friend! Wayne and Jean have been some of our sweetest loveable friends for decades. Wayne has always been such a hard worker. He was always building something in his shop when they lived in Midvale. He remodeled their home. I swear he could do anything.
This September it will be 20 years since the Lightning Strike. He just kept on going...he's amazing. He had lots of problems with his health in the last 20 years...!!!
We love you Wayne and Jean...we look forward to seeing Wayne when we graduate!!!
