My Dad taught us how to speak proper English, insisted on very strict manners, and closing doors quietly. All people skills necessary to be a young lady. Skills that have served me well all my life. He taught us to tell the truth. Every year on our birthday, my dad took us individually for an ice cream cone, then spent the day with us. I always felt so special hanging around with my Dad for a while day. We did not start Christmas preparations until after my birthday which also made me feel like a princess. My dad gave us structure and he believed in giving everything out best shot. He was a very good man. The world is not a better place without him. I love you Dad.
