I had the great pleasure of delivering Meals on Wheels as part of a group from Christ United Methodist Church to Mr & Mrs. Wertz for two years (2007-09?). I so thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Wertz who had a wonderful sense of humor and was always glad to see me coming.
Mrs. Wertz was having a tough time before I met them and he soldiered on after her passing. His graciousness and good humor are something I shall always cherish. I am blessed to have known them.
