Robin Elizabeth LeBaron
1969 – 2022
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, Robin Elizabeth LeBaron, loving wife and mother of two, passed away in her Ogden, Utah home peacefully at the age of 53.
Robin was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 24, 1969 to Sara D. Chadwick-Brown and John W. Rood. She grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and raised two children of her own; Sarah and Jacob, whom she championed endlessly. After many dedicated years of study, Robin graduated from Brigham Young University in the summer of 2012, and was fortunate to meet the love of her life, Ronald C. LeBaron, while attending her last semester there. They were married in Mesa, Arizona on November 10, 2012, and together they had six children, and six grandchildren with one on the way.
As an avid traveler, Robin accomplished her goal of taking her two children to all 50 states and planned two unforgettable trips to Europe during her lifetime; once as a 19-year-old college student, and once to attend the wedding of her son Jacob. Robin was an expert at finding value in the overlooked, and she used that talent not only to hunt for antiques and deals in the city, but to camp and forage in the woods for mushrooms and berries too. Those who know her, know that she loved to connect with others, often encouraging them to find the best in themselves while simultaneously whisking them off on a spontaneous adventure. She had a contagious passion for life, a fierce loyalty for her family, and an irreplaceably fun and spirited personality.
Robin is survived by her parents, Sara D. Chadwick-Brown and John W. Rood [Lonna], as well as her husband Ronald C. LeBaron, children Sarah E. Jackson [Nathan] and Jacob A. Johnson [Chanel], and three siblings; Sara Storks, John Rood [Cindy], and Karri Summers-Rood. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, whom she loved immensely.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Northridge 14th Ward Chapel, 1875 N 280 W, Orem, UT. The viewing will precede the service from 9:45-10:45am, with Robin’s burial at Orem City Cemetery following. A second memorial service will also be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the church building at 1455 N Harris Dr., Mesa, AZ, with lunch provided and an open microphone for sharing memories of our beloved Robin Elizabeth LeBaron.
