Roderick Hyrum Ericksen's Obituary
On October 1, 2018, Roderick turned from his physical friends and family to walk with his Mom and Dad. He was 61. Roderick had a droll sense of humor but wasn't always easily understood by most people. We are grateful to the ones who paused and made the effort and those in the background who quietly helped him. His best friend Steve who has been by his side, helped care for him and stayed to the end. His work family, especially his boss Jaren who watched over him, provided him many things and kept him out of trouble over the years. His "sister-in-law" of the heart, Robyn who was his care-giver and fiercest protector from beginning to end of his transition. We are indebted and humbled by your selflessness. The family is honoring Roderick's request to be cremated and his wish that he might be remembered not by a funeral, but a party to be scheduled at a later date.
