Rodney LeGrande Neal's Obituary
Rodney LeGrande passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all his loved ones after a long battle fighting Lou Gehrig's (ALS) disease. Rodney was born February 14, 1940 and passed away September 2, 2020. Rodney was born in Tremonton, Utah to John LaVon Neal and VeLoy Nelson. Graduated from Weber High School. Rodney served in the US Army. He married Margie Carol Garrett-Neal, on August 18, 1962 in Detroit Michigan at the Church of Christ.
Rodney worked for General Motors as a machinist, then Southern Pacific Railroad as a machinist and later at the Utah Auto Auction as a General Manager.
Survived by his wife, Margie; children, Chris LeVon Neal, Craig LeGrande Neal, Denise Lee Neal-Hernandez; 8 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
The family would like to make a special thank you to Summit Hospice. His Nurse Elise and CNA Aspyn. The family would like to give a loving and honorary thank you to his oldest Granddaughter Mackenzie Esplin for being his full time caregiver. In Lieu of flowers, that a special donation be made in Rodney LeGrade's name to the ALS foundation.
