Roger Carlson's Obituary
Roger Carlson passed away Tuesday, February 19th at age 78 after a two year battle with liver cancer.
Roger was born on December 2, 1941 in Mandan, North Dakota where he spent his childhood. He moved to Washington and it was there he met his sweetheart, Kerstin, and they were married in 1965. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
Roger and Kerstin raised their family in Sweet Home, Oregon and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Roger loved to spend time in the mountains hunting and fishing with his sons and friends. He also enjoyed watching old westerns. Roger and Kerstin served a mission in 2000 at Martin’s Cove in Wyoming. They loved sharing pioneer stories.
Roger will be missed by many. He was a warm, kind, loving, spouse, sibling, parent and friend.
He is preceded in death by spouse (Kerstin), parents, brothers, and sisters, and daughter Sherri. He is survived in death by daughters Lori, Sonja, and Solveig, sons, Bryon and Lance; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
