Rolan Roy Rans, born January 27, 1936 in Woonsocket, South Dakota, passed away February 18, 2022 in Ogden, Utah. Married Betty (Pownall) Rans, November 17, 1956 in Burtonwood A.F.B., Warrington, England. Their children are Karen Rans Green Valley, AZ, Janet Tschetter Huron, SD, Christine Rans Syracuse, UT, and Leigh Martin Layton, UT
Survived by 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Brother.

Dad loved teaching all his daughters how to work on cars. He was always tinkering around in the garage refurbishing cars and engines. Especially Ford’s! Rol enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially pheasant hunting in South Dakota. His ashes will be spread in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
