Roland “Lane” Dean
1950 ~2020
Roland "Lane" Dean was born January 20 ,1950 to Roland Sims and Katherine Ann Dean of Lehi Utah.
Lane had an Amazing life, he went to school in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1968.
He loved taking off to the mountains either to go fishing, hunting or just go on a hike. He loved the outdoors and loved taking his kids on fun and exciting adventures. He loved skiing and he enjoyed reading a good Louis L'Amour book.
Lane Worked at Mainco and later retired from Powder River. He will be missed dearly by many. We would like to say thank you so much to his nurse Austin , his nurses aid Louise, his social worker Mckenna. You all were so wonderful to him!! Lane is survived by his 3 kids. Wesley and (Jackie) Dean of Honeyville, Utah; his son Randy and (Tracy) Dean of American Fork, Utah his daughter Jody Burningham of Lehi, Utah; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; his sister Diane Sudweeks of Lehi, Utah, his sister Kathy and (Gary) Millward of West Valley, Utah and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Kay Dean , his Brother Tracey Dean and his grandson TJ Walsh.
There will be a viewing at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 481 E 300 N Lehi, Utah on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. at the church. A graveside service will follow at the Lehi City Cemetery at 11:00am.
