Ron Stanley Jackson's Obituary
Ron Stanley Jackson was born on August 21, 1971, in Provo, Utah. He is the beloved son of Sandy and Ron P. Jensen and the late Stanley Reed Jackson. He grew up in Mapleton, Utah and graduated from Springville High School in 1989. There he was involved in many activities such as FFA, football, and track. He had a passion for wrestling and ranked 2nd in state.
Ron continued his education at UVU, SLCC, Utah Peace Officer Standards, DEA Drug Academy, and the Fred F. House Academy. After completing his education Ron went on to work for the Utah Department of Corrections for 3 years. He also served in the Salem City Police Department as a police officer, evidence tech, contract city coordinator, and motor pool coordinator. Ron was a member of the Utah County Metro S.W.A.T team. In addition to his dedicated service as a Police officer Ron also volunteered with Salem City as a firefighter. He later went to work for the city of Draper. There he was selected to develop the Draper City Police Department's first S.W.A.T team. He then served as a public information officer and a community policing specialist. After he worked in investigations he was promoted to Corporal. Ron also served within the D.A.R.E program. He Finished out his 20-year career as a Sergeant in the Draper City Police Department and retired as an honored police officer. After his retirement he went on to become the lead tech for Dent wizard building the Utah market all while running his many other business ventures.
Ron met the love of his life Marcie Ann Jackson and was married on September 22, 2012. They were later sealed together for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. They created a life full of memories and adventures in the 12 years they shared together. One of the greatest joys in his life was raising his 5 children Aubrie, Jenika, Kayleb, Karlie, and Tyson.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in all his callings, always willing to help those around him. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling to new places, visiting Margaritaville’s around the world, and attending concerts. In his leisure time he enjoyed boating, gardening in the yard, riding in his truck with the music up, and working hard on his many ambitious house projects.
Ron’s unique outlook on life always brought fun and laughter to our lives. He has left behind a legacy of courage, strength, and faith. He made friends wherever he went and touched the hearts of many. Ron is and always will be the ultimate example of how to persevere through hard times.
Ron is survived by his wife Marcie Jackson, children Karlie Bordinko (Alex Vargas), Tyson (Lexy) Bordinko, Aubrie Jackson, Jenika Jackson, Kayleb Jackson, parents Ron P. and Sandy Jensen, siblings Russell (Michelle) Jackson, MeLinda (Steve) Tibbals, and Cody (Michelle) Jensen
Ron was preceded in death by Stanley Reed Jackson (Father) and Cindy Jackson (Sister)

Funeral Service: Saturday January 20th 11:00 am
