I met Ron when I was 13 years old in junior high school. We skied every weekend together in high school and we roomed together in college. I thought it was crazy, but he sold a $1000 stereo system in our sophomore year to go helicopter skiing with rich captains of industry in B.C. His love of skiing was only surpassed by his love for family. Ron was a big shiny bright light in our crazy world. He was the most kind, generous, effervescent, positive, and loving guy I've ever known. He worked harder than anyone I know, and loved serving customers with handmade chocolates filled with love and care. He created joy and happiness around him constantly with his high energy, soaring spirit, and good cheer - always and forever. Encephalitis may have taken his body, but it could never take his huge soul. He built a beautiful family with Samye, then he finally met his true love, Vicki. She was there every minute, every second, of every day, and she is nothing short of a blessed saint. Blessings to the entire family. Rest in peace my old and dearest friend Ron.
