Ronald H. Hansen's Obituary
“I’m Coming Home”
Ronald H. Hansen, in loving memory of my husband, born September 25, 1954, passed away peacefully, April 29, 2020.
In Ron’s earlier years he loved to travel. He was lucky to see most of the world. In September of 2007 we met by chance. We decided to start a journey of our own. He was a loving husband and father. We had one child together, our daughter, Christina, and three step-children, Mandy, Cody, and Michael, along with two grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Ron was a very loving and caring person who was loved by many. He has made memories that will be missed dearly by all who know him.
Ron was the second oldest of six children. He was born to Marilyn and Lawrence Hansen. Ron’s siblings consisted of brother, Larry and his wife, Karen, only sister, Darlene, brothers, John and his wife Cindy, Lynn and his wife Geri, Don and his wife, Deborah, Von and his wife, Patricia, foster brother, Dennis and sister, Victoria Chatter.
Ron grew up in Utah County. He came from a wonderful family and loved all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ron also had some great friends, some whom lasted a lifetime. Thank you to Holly Perry, Rocky Olsen, Russ Thornton, Roger Farley, Mark Woods, Hal Algood, Clay Gasser, Vonnie Olsen, Tom Jones, Ted the Head, Sherry, Karla, Bry and Connie Workman.
Ron Hansen accomplished many things in his lifetime. He loved to fly. In 1988, Ron received his private pilot’s license (in his own words) “It’s the hardest thing that I started that I saw it through all the way.” He did his first solo in January that same year. Ron loved to golf with his dad. He bought and managed his trailer park. He thought that was the best thing that happened for him. In 1994 Ron built his own house with help from brother, John. Ron helped his dad with a family business. Ron was a man that loved to learn everything he could. He worked at H & R Block, he was a licensed realtor, certified semi-truck driver, and a certified electrician. He also decided to go up to rescue diver level. Ron would also help with house chores and even his daughter’s school work. Ron was just an all-around fantastic man that had a heart of gold.
Thank you to sister, Darlene for being there in my time of need. I appreciate all your love and support to help me through this.
To my Love, Ron Hansen, “I am so heart-broken to have to say good-bye. I will truly miss you. Thank you for 13 years of wonderful memories we got to share. I am grateful they were with you. I will always love you, my sweet Teddy Bear. Every time I see Timpanogos Mountain, I will be thinking of you.” Love your wife, Marsha and daughter, Christina.
Rest in peace my love!
