Ronald was kind and loving. He made friends everywhere he went and treated them all like his family. Ronald will be missed by his Latter-day Saint ward that loved and supported him in the trials Ronald has faced these last several years. He was very spiritual and always available for them. Ronald was always ready to give to anyone he could help. The world will be poorer for his loss but the spirit world will be richer.
He loved music and played some different instruments from the trombone to the piano. Ronald enjoyed singing in both school and church choirs. Church activities where high on the list of things Ronald liked to do his whole life. He felt happy in the outdoors, camping, hiking, ATV riding, and in Ronald’s younger days rafting out to Antelope Island with several neighbors coming along. What Ronald enjoyed most though was doing all those things with his family. He was very good with his nieces and nephews and loved family events. He wanted his own family and we know that life is eternal and his Heavenly Father will fulfill this wonderful desire for him.
Ronald was very good with numbers and did some teaching when the opportunity presented itself. He attended Snow College in Ephraim and did a technical school after to learn architecture. Ronald drove a Rig for many years and was able to see many of the states. He took many pictures as photography was also something Ronald enjoyed. Ronald won contests and had poems published. Nothing seemed to slow our wonderful brother down as he made the most of life perusing all that was new to him and good. He liked to read books and look up things on his computer. Another big desire was to create affordable housing for people down on their luck and Ronald spent a lot of time thinking about and designing ways to do that. Ronald left some unfinished goals behind but we his family know that heaven needs a great spirit like his to do very important work. While we shed tears for our loss, we are happy that Ronald will continue the work of our lord and watch over us his large family that loved and valued him.
We would like to thank the passer by that stopped and called the ambulance the day of Ronald’s accident and the ambulance workers. Also, the many doctors at Mc Kay Dee that put long hours into his care and the many nurses and end care support. They were wonderful with him and very kind to us his family. We are grateful for his ward that came and visited expressing their love and support. And the many friends that also came to express their love also. We saw through all you amazing people how truly loved he is. We will hold him in our arms again someday.
