Ronald E Kierstead's Obituary
Ronald E Kierstead, 81 of West Valley City, Utah passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026 at Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
Ron was born on November 4, 1945, in Panguitch, Utah to Leo and Lorna Kierstead.
Ron was self employed and ran an engraving business called On The Rocks until retirement. His work was prominently featured during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah.
Ron enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Ron married twice, first to Barbara Johnson of Ely, Nevada. They were the parents of two sons, Adam and Clint. Ron later married Christie Sage of Salt Lake City and they have resided in West Valley City for many years.
Ron and Christie enjoyed traveling throughout Utah and spending time at their get-away property near Duchene, Utah.
Ron is survived by his wife Christie, Bob Kierstead, his sole remaining brother, his two sons, Adam and Clint and other nieces and nephews.
Ron was a kind and gentle man, loved by his family and friends.
