Ronald Stephen McCandless
July 11, 1949 - October 6, 2020
Our beloved brother and uncle passed away on October 6, 2020 returning to our heavenly father. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Eugene and Charlene McCandless.
Ron was such a happy and pleasant person to be around. He loved talking to people, didn’t matter if he knew you or not. Loved just striking up a conversation and reminiscing about his Naval experiences in Vietnam. He was a long haul driver and loved traveling across the United States and Canada. Ron loved dog’s, he treated and spoiled them like they were his children.
Ron was preceded in death by Eugene McCandless (father), Charlene McCandless (mother), Christine McCandless (sister), Jerry Piep (nephew) and Alisha Barns (niece).
Graveside services will be held Thursday October 15, 2020 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery and Memorial Park located 17111 South Camp Williams Road Bluffdale, Utah and 12:00pm with Naval honors.
