Debra Pike
My fondest memories of my Uncle Ronald are from childhood trips to their home in Pelham, NH. We had such fun at that property and there were many tears when it was our time to leave. Of course he and my dad, twin Roscoe, would confuse us as to which of them was our dad and it was really hard to tell them apart when we were kids! They both would regale us with stories of their adventures when they were kids. One of my favorites was an occasion when they were accompanying their father to work and while he was inside an establishment they started giving away free hot dogs out of the back of his Swift Co truck. The people on the street evidently loved it, but grandpa, not so much!
I also remember talking about Ron's microscale chemistry text books, I was a chemistry major and was so proud that my uncle wrote and published such a fine book. It was fun to brag on him at school!
We will miss him but know that he is at peace in God's mansion. Love, Niece Deb Pike
