Ron was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to William and Genevieve (Ward) Ratcliffe on May 17, 1941. He went to elementary school in Wilson, Wyoming and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He then continued his education at Weber State College graduating with a bachelor’s degree. He met the love of his life, Marilyn Stephens, while attending school at Weber State and the two were married on September 7, 1962, in the Logan Temple.
There were many different lines of work with his favorite being the work he accomplished for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a logistics coordinator at the Church’s print center in Salt Lake City Utah.
Throughout his life, Ron was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings throughout his life and often recalled the fun times serving the youth, most likely because he was a big kid himself. Ron served a mission with his beloved Marilyn in the California Fresno Mission. He also enjoyed the times when he was able to serve as a temple work in the Bountiful and Brigham City temples.
Ronald is survived by daughters; KayLynn (Jeff), Teresa (Brandt), Heather (Todd), sons; Michael (Lori), Joshua (Bethany), son-in-law Rahn, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and sister Jody.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, daughter Laurie, mother, father, two brothers and second wife Judy.
