Ronald Stoddard's Obituary
Ronald (Ron) Stoddard was born November 10, 1939 to Arnold Lorenzo Stoddard and Clover Coletta Stoddard. On April 13, 2023,
Ron, age 83, shed his earthly pain and made a graceful exit, surrounded by the love and compassion he had spread all his life.
Ron was a wise and compassionate person, honest with strong moral principles. He was a natural-born leader who gained love, trust and respect from many. One of his go-to phrases was “work smarter, not harder”; everything he did seemed effortless. His wide range of hobbies included racing his Chevelle, DIY home projects, gardening, swimming, camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, creating art, bowling, golfing, and training a new Poncho every few years, to name a few.
He did not wait for retirement to live his life; he retired with no items left on his bucket list.
He partnered with his brother and best friend Curtis and founded Stoddard Steel. Just a few years after he married his current wife Carol (Susan) and added a few more children to their already large family.
He lived through it all and kept learning and growing throughout the years. He was quick witted and charismatic and always made those around him brighten up. He would wake his children up each morning sipping his honey-filled coffee while singing his favorite songs. His evenings would be spent sharing life lessons, jokes, and fantastic stories with family and friends who stopped by.
He will be deeply missed and always remembered by those who knew and loved him.
Ron is survived by his wife Susan, his children Mike, Kristy, Randy, Ronda, Micheal, Connie, Consuelo, Arthur, Veronica, Ronald Jr, Cc, Autumn (Bex), and several siblings.
Proceeded in death by his daughter Amanda, son Richard, brothers Curtis and Zara.
