On this solemn occasion we want to express our heart felt condolences to you and your family. Ron helped us so many times with our computers, and we appreciated it very much. After we moved to Midway, Ron and Celeste came up to our home, and Ron helped us setup our computer systems. We remember Ron being very generous with his time and knowledge. We are fortunate to share 3 wonderful grandchildren: Melissa, Chloe and Dylan. We had enjoyed many wonderful times and get togethers with your family and ours when they were young. These were memorable times. Ron will be greatly missed. We love you, Jim and Jeanie Frederick

The summer between our Jr and Sr year of school Ron, Dale Stewart and I worked on Doug Stephens ranch hauling hay and moving sprinkler pipe. Dale's father, Morris was the ranch manager.
One day we had just put a load of hay in the barn and took our lunch break in the shade.

Dale Morris said "Taylor $20 says you can't hit the left headlight on the hay truck." Ron carefully pick out a rock and let it fly. The next thing Morris said was "Here's your damn $20, I'm going to town to get a head light." Great job Ron !!!

I knew Ron at South Ogden Jr. High and Bonneville High School. I always looked up to him as a person who loved people and someone who wanted to make a difference. He was well liked, a leader, brilliant, outstanding in sports and a smile that was full of fun! I am a better person for knowing him.
While at Weber State University, Ron attended a Institue party sponsored by LDSSA. It was I that introduced him to his special wife Celeste. At the 55 Bonneville Reunion he said: " I remember her looks, the color of her clothes and everything about her!" He loved Celeste and I loved her too!
Celeste, I want you to know that you are in our prayers. May you and your family take comfort in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May you have the peace you are seeking and know how much so many people love you. Deepest condolences to you and your ten children. Love, Paul and Ellen Deamer

I met Ron around 1974 when he and his wonderful wife, Celeste, were serving in the BYU 57th Branch. After Carol and I were married, I had the privilege of working with Ron as we began putting systems in place to automate Harmon's grocery. Ron and I would drive up to Harmon's HQ, almost daily. Ron was the fastest and most effective software developer that I had ever seen. We had fun and wrote a lot of code. On breaks, we would go next door to the Harmon's bakery and buy what Ron called "programmer's food:" donuts. Ron had a great sense of humor and was all about improving family history research, through the use of rapidly emerging computer technology. Ron had a great love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a deep knowledge and understanding of the scriptures and church history. Our families became good friends. We loved our association with Ron and Celeste and were able to get to know some of their children. I am thankful for the association that I had with Ron. He will be missed. Truly one of the best, most complete men that I have ever known. Brilliant, results-oriented, athletic, wise. Deepest condolences to Celeste and their wonderful family.

Our "Brother" Ron Taylor, will be sorely missed by all of his Church and Neighborhood Friends,
Ron was very influential in the development of the LDS Church Family Search program, and a frontrunner for computer programing. He was a genius!
I will be ever grateful for his efforts in teaching me how to use a computer, and how to search for my ancestors. He freely gave his time to help several of us understand and learn "Modern Technology! Thank you Ron!!
