Rosa Fabian's Obituary
Rosa Fabian aka Rosa Contreras was born on October 1, 1921 in La Reina Chaletenango, El Salvador. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 24, 2014. Her loving spirit has left this world to join her loved ones beyond the veil. A single mother, Rosa raised her children in the midst of poverty and civil war. She cherished her family and sacrificed everything to protect them and keep them safe. Rosa was grateful to her son Jon for giving her and her children the opportunity to come to the United States. She was so grateful for the freedoms and opportunities brought to her family in this country. Rosa was a devoted grandmother and mother. She taught her children and grandchildren the value of hard work, honesty, and always taking the time to laugh and notice the small things. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she loved her Saviour and bore testimony of his goodness every day to those around her. Rosa leaves behind a legacy of courage, strength, faith, and unconditional love her family and friends will always hold dear. She is survived by her four children Mirna May (husband Al), Beatriz Inestroza, Alberto Inestroza (wife Martha Martin), Jon Conte, her grandchildren Paul May, Sarah May, Albert James May, Gina Romero, George Conte, Dinah Conte Ramos, David Conte, Tanika Inestroza, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Highland Park Ward Building on Friday May 30, 2014 at 11:00am located at 2535 Douglas St., Salt Lake City, Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
