Rosa Marie Gonzalez's Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Rosa Marie Gonzalez, 62 of Evanston Wyoming on the early morning hours of June 19th, 2026, in Murray Utah. Rosa was born on March 5th, 1964, in Chihuahua Mexico to Margarito and Mercedes Moncada Gonzalez.
Rosa is a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. She is a devoted Mother to her oldest son Alex of Mexico, and two special needs sons Eric and Jesus (Andy) of Evanston which she doted over as would be expected as a very caring mother. She is a special soul to be able to serve the daunting needs of her boys. She loved being a grandmother to her granddaughter Cadence of Evanston. Her boys and granddaughter were her greatest treasures. Rosa’s siblings are Humberto, Lupe, Luz and Olga and she has a close niece, Karina.
Rosa loved to write and was an excellent cook. She loved to collect elephant and angel figurines. She believed they were a sign of good luck. Her favorite collection is the ones on her walls of her children and granddaughter. Rosa didn’t really have a specific religion in her life but believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She believed in the power of prayer and the knowledge of an afterlife to be able to be with her loved ones that passed on before her. Rosa is proceeded in death by her mother Mercedes, her father Margarito and older brother Humberto.
Cremation, by her request, has been taken care of by Premier Funeral Services of Murray Utah. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday July 16th, 2026, from 5-7pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Bowery (across the street from the church) at 251 Elm Street in Evanston, Wyoming. All are welcome to attend.
