Rosangela Ferrerira De Macedo's Obituary
Rosangela Ferreira Lima de Macedo, 56, died peacefully in her home on February 5, 2015 after a long battle with cancer & MS.
Rosangela was born April 19, 1958 in João Pessoa, PB, Brazil to João de Souza Lima & Lindalva Ferreira da Silva.
In 1979 Rosangela moved to Rio de Janeiro, to begin an internship. She then met Nilton de Macedo who she would soon marry. They were sealed for eternity on October 11, 1980 in the São Paulo Brazil Temple. Rosangela, along with her family, moved to the United States in May of 1986, and together have made a home along the Wasatch Front.
Rosangela was always a giving and loving person with a strong will and determination to do right. Her siblings always called her ‘Angel’, although inspired by her name, it was a reflection of her grace and service to others since childhood. Her determination helped her keep her humor until her last days. She had a wonderful testimony and love for our Savior, our Heavenly Father and the restored gospel. Although her family and friends are sad to lose a wonderful part of their lives, they are glad that she is able to move on to the next stage in immortality towards eternal life.
Rosangela is survived by her husband, Nilton M. de Macedo; her children, Moroni de Macedo, Julliana (Troy) Lund, Tattiana (Chris) Gray, and Lucciana (Tyler) Hoch; four grandchildren, Benjamin (6), James (4), Nash (2), and Landon (1); as well as many, many friends.
The viewing will be Saturday, February 7, from 10 – 11:30 AM at the Midvale 2nd Ward Building (97 West 7500 South, Midvale, UT), with Services immediately following.
