Rosario Baldazo Manubay's Obituary
Rosario Baldazo Manubay passed away at the age of 103 the morning of Monday, February 26, 2024. She passed away in her home in Roy surrounded by family.
Rosario was born in the Philippines on October 12, 1920, to Jose Baldazo and Maria Gonzales. Her siblings are Maura Gutierrez, Anastasia Samaniego, Marcella Diamat, Nollie Baldazo, Doray Yap, Lito Baldazo, Berto Baldazo. Rosario married Pedro Manubay in 1942 they were married 34 years before Pedro passed away in 1976. Rosario’s primary occupation in life was a seamstress. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness. Rosario is best remembered for her love of sewing, tending to her garden, and serving everyone around her. Rosario lived in the Philippines before moving to San Francisco, California in 1977. She later moved to Roy, Utah in 1991. During her lifetime, Rosario and Pedro had 7 sons and 1 daughter.
Rosario is survived by her sisters; Anastasia and Marcella. Her children; Ruben (Ning Ning), Ignacio (Julia), Emer (Arlene), Vicky, Gene (Jenny), Jerry (Susan), Pablo. Her daughter-in-law; Marietta (Ponce). Grandchildren; Tara, Troy, Rian, Kim (Eric), Samantha, Arra (Jackson) Jeanine (Josh), Jasmine, Ever (Xadiel), Julius (Elora), Generson, and her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Pedro, son Ponce, siblings; Maura, Nollie, Doray, Lito, and Berto, and grandson Peter.
The viewing for Rosario Manubay will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 1950 W ST, Roy, Utah 84067. The burial will take place after the viewing at 12:00PM, West Haven Cemetery, 1500 2360 W, West Haven, UT 84401. A memorial service will be held for Rosario at 5:00PM, at the Kingdom Hall, 1950 W ST, Roy, UT 84067.
