Roscoe Ben Davis' Obituary
Early in the morning of August 21, 2022 Roscoe Ben Davis, Ben to his family and friends, returned to his heavenly home. Born on December 17,1937 in Alhambra California, to Roscoe Evans Davis and Emma Gwen Cole Davis, he was their second child. After graduating from Alhambra High School, he continued his education at BYU. There he met and married his sweetheart Lois Jean Rindfleisch on December 20, 1957, in the Manti Temple. They started their married life in California, then moved to Spring Lake, Utah in 1976. Ben taught at the Salt Lake Community College for 30 years as an instructor of electricity. After Lois passed away in 2014, Ben married Ruth McOmber Pratt on December 31, 2014. Ben was proceeded in death by his parents, Roscoe Evans Davis and Emma Gwen Cole Davis, sister Diedre and Walter Thornhill, wife Lois Jean Rindfleisch, son Little Ben and son in law Cory Leland Dixon. Survived by Laura Ann Dixon, DeeAnn Audrey Milligan (Cory), and Benjamin Ross Davis (Patti), eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also loved by Ruth’s children and grandchildren. On August 27, there will be a Viewing from 11:30 to 12:15 followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm. Held at the Spring Lake 2nd Ward 12625 South Spring Lake Rd Payson UT 84651 , Payson, Utah. Ben will be interred at the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi Utah. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Grove Creek Assisted Living and Envision Hospice for going above and beyond their professional duties by loving and caring for our father, husband, and grandfather.
