To my dear Rox. You gave me continual friendship and joy when at times, neither one of us had anything else to give. You stood behind me and supported me when I needed you the most. You loved my kids and grandbabies like they were your own. You gave your heart and selflessness to those who needed it. I thank you for being there for me during those dark days and sending me your funny and beautiful ditties. I love you and miss you always! Shauna Nebeker
My sister loved to label. Even now I have hammers and other items sporting my last name. Which brought us to Toll Painting. She dragged me to my first lesson in the basement of some women's house. It was something that bonded us for years and years. I will forever treasure the items of wood I have that she lovingly painted, and repainted, and repainted, as she was a perfectionist. As I watched her strip the wood again and again, I would say "Really, again, please stop abusing that piece of wood"! Sometimes I could sneak it away from her and fix it myself. We spent a lot of time meeting at the craft stores looking for new projects. When she found a store that cut wood she went crazy having them cut all kinds of patterns. Another thing we both loved was battery operated screw drivers. We had all kinds and I can picture her even now on the floor fixing some project needing screws. So every time time I pick up my hammer with the name "Hadley" neatly printed on it, I'll have her in my hand and heart.
