Our beloved mom, grandma, great grandma and great, great, grandma Ruby Napier Green, age 91, passed away peacefully with family by her side October 19, 2019.
She was born September 12, 1928 to Hilda and Thomas Napier in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ruby graduated from West High School, Class of 1946. She married the love of her life Dwain Green June 14, 1947. They were married for 60 years. Together they had 6 children, that Ruby dedicated her life to.
During her life she loved to take trips to Las Vegas and Wendover, going camping to Bear Lake during the Napier family reunions, watching the Hallmark Channel and was an avid Days of our Lives viewer (even when she had to watch it at 1 a.m.). She also enjoyed reading and collected many books.
She is survived by her children Sharon, Shirley, Dwain, Ray (Margo) and Kevin, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great, great, granddaughter.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Dwain, parents Hilda and Thomas, brother John, sisters Violet, Janet and Lucille, her son David, son-in-law Gary, grandsons Jay H and baby Mickie.
She has been a mom and grandma for all in her own way. She will always be a part of our lives and stories will forever be shared and remembered.
