Rudy Florez's Obituary
Salt Lake City, UT - Rudy Florez passed away on January 13, 2017. He was born February 13, 1952 in Utah to Miguel Lazano Florez and Teresa Salas. He was raised in Brigham Canyon, when his Dad worked at Kennecott Copper Mine as a Powderman.
He is survived by 2 daughters Chieli and Kierra.
Surviving Brothers and sisters, Della Browne, David Florez, Michael Florez, Lucy Laboto,
Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers Manuel Florez, Frank Aguilera, Raymond Jr. and sisters Juanita Florez & Suzie Florez.
He attended West High School.
University of Utah from 1979-1981 studied Pre-medical with a minor in Communications.
Rudy worked for IHC from 1988-1995 as an Accounting Clerk.
And continued to work in management positions at First Health, Ida Tran, Park N' Fly and Mountain States Logistics.
He was actively involved servicing his community participating in the Chamber of Commerce and being a Delegate.
Funeral Services will be held at Memorial Ward Chapel (4251 South 4800 West
West Valley City, UT 84120) Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
