Russell Alan Evans' Obituary
Russell Alan Evans, age 50, of West Haven, Utah, passed away on June 28th,
2023. Russ was born on March 10th, 1973 in Ogden, Utah to Diann Barton
Rutherford and Richard Alan Evans. Russ grew up in Ronclaire, Utah and was
raised by his single mother. He learned the value of hard work and taking
care of others at a young age. To help his mother provide for their family,
Russ got his first job at 14 and continued to work hard until the day he
died. Russ and his first wife, Brandy Ellis, had two children, Bowdy Alan
Evans and Kobi Jennifer Evans. Russ met his second wife, Dusty Lynelle
Martineau, in January of 1998 and they were married on March 29th, 2000.
They had one son, Cody Wayne Evans. Russ was a good man who loved his
family more than anything. Russ enjoyed fishing, shooting, and relaxing
with family in his yard. Russ was preceded in death by his mother, Diann
Barton Rutherford, his father, Richard Alan Evans, and his brother, Michael
Scott Rutherford. He is survived by his wife, Dusty Lynelle Evans, his
children, Bowdy, Kobi (Carson), and Cody, his granddaughter, Sparrow, and
his three sisters, Lynda Siddoway(Craig), Tracy Cook, and Laura
Evans(Vanancio). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023
with a viewing from 9:30-10:45am and the Funeral at 11:00am, at the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 3649 W. 4800 S., Roy, UT
84067.
