Russell Marvin Cox's Obituary
Russell Marvin Cox,70, passed away from Alzheimer's on 3 July 2015 at his home, in Orem, Utah, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on 25 August 1944 in Centerfield, Utah to John Rathbun and Geventa Leota Larsen Cox.
Russ was raised in Eagle Rock, CA. He graduated from Eagle Rock High School, lettering in Field and Track. He was a self-employed carpet installer. He retired in 2006 after 43 years. Russ married Karen Ann Enders in 1989 in Pleasant Grove, UT. They were happily married for 26 years. Russell was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, John and Geventa Cox; his brother Bruce, and his daughter Lisa Marie Cox Beals. Russ is survived by his spouse Karen of Orem, Utah; his son John Russell (Becky) Cox of Riverton, UT; his stepchildren Tracy Steck (Jamie) of Elk Ridge, UT, Jeremy Kupcho (Sandy) of Pelham, NH, Marcy Kupcho of Rock Springs, WY, Laura Curtis (Tony) of Saratoga Springs, UT, Carolyn Kupcho of Park City, UT, 18 grandchildren, and his sister Phyllis Bramble.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Orem City Cemetery, Orem, UT
