We spent Easter this year with Aunt Ruth. We dyed eggs and we dressed in our best and went to High Tea at the Grand America Hotel. She was tikled pink to do so. Aunt Ruth helped me play Easter bunny and we hid eggs and set up baskets. She told me it was the best Easter she'd had that she could remember. Those simple things made her weekend unforgettable. Its the little things in life that make the biggest impact. My daughter dearly loved her Great Aunt "Roost". I am so thankful for the many trips we took to see her and that my daughter got to know her.
She was a heck of a lady and her light burned so bright. Her love for Jesus was infinite. She spoke truth into you when you needed it and blessed everyone who crossed her path. Her hugs? The best. Massages? Irreplaceable. She was a joy filled woman even through lifes many adversities always seeing the positive. I am thankful I spent so much time with her over the years. We miss you and and love you so much. I cannot wait to dance on golden streets with you in heaven and hear your infectious laugh again.
