Ryan Craig Brumfield's Obituary
Ryan Craig Brumfield passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 in Ivins, UT. He was born September 11, 1971 to Carlie and Carol Wheeler Brumfield in Salt Lake City, UT. He grew up Mississippi and Utah, but graduated in Utah at Spanish Fork High in 1990. He married Sandra Thomas on March, 7, 1992. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Mount Timpanogos Temple. They have 3 beautiful children which Ryan adored: McKenzie, Tanner and Thomas.
Ryan proudly served in the US Marines, although only for a short period due to health reasons. Ryan was blessed with the skills of working with youth, and touched the lives of many working as a youth counselor. He enjoyed camping, collecting guns, and animals, especially his dogs Max and Cody, but above all loved spending time with his children and wife who was the love of his life.
Ryan is survived by his beautiful wife and 3 children; siblings Paul (Jennifer) of Spanish Fork; Scott (Jodi) of Santa Clara; John (Heidi) Hoop; Julie (Greg) Littleton; and Lisa (Kevin) Arrington of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his father-in-law Richard Thomas of Springville, and Sandra’s siblings Jennifer (Andrew) Ellsworth); Ryan (Shelly) Thomas; Boone (Annesa) Thomas and Katie (Liufau) Alusa; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and mother-in-law Annette Rawlings Thomas.
A memorial in his honor will be held on Wednesday, January 29 at Metcalf Mortuary at 288 West St. George, Blvd, in St. George from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31st at the LDS Chapel on 1167 South 1700 East, Spanish Fork, UT at 11:00, with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:45. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
