Sally Jan Lindsay was born between Christmas and New Years, on December 29, 1945 to Grace and Walter West Lindsay, in Ogden. She married Larry Cleon Sanders in 1964. Sally took joy in raising her six children and was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sally sang and played the piano from an early age; it remained her life’s work and comfort. She taught piano and touched the lives of many others through her love of music. Throughout her life, she was always happiest surrounded by the natural beauties of the great outdoors. She wrote, sketched, drew, colored and filled her home with her passion for music, art, and nature.
Sally is survived by her husband Larry Cleon Sanders and six children, Ellen Zaifnejad, Larry Kent Sanders, James West Sanders, Joseph Frederick Sanders, Amy Christina Sanders, Susan Jane Sanders and by her four siblings, Shirley Gardner, Sue Stevenson Leth, Lynn Lindsay, and Linda (Tomi) Hanson. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
