Salvador Gutierrez's Obituary
Salvador Gutierrez, aged 67, passed away on June 13, 2025, in Clearfield, UT. Born on November 12, 1957, Salvador dedicated 21 years to the Air Force before transitioning to a rewarding 25-year tenure as an instructor at Job Corp, where he shaped the lives of young individuals with his knowledge, compassion and love for his students.
Known for his witty and sometimes crass humor, Salvador never failed to bring laughter and light-heartedness into the lives of those around him. He was a passionate enthusiast of biking, computer programming, and music, especially jazz, and enjoyed spending his free time attending concerts.
Salvador is survived by his spouse, Ferlyna; children, Tom and Jenna; step-daughter, Kimberly; sisters, Valentina, Maria, and Rosa; and grandchildren, Taira, Kamila, and Matheus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erasmo and Lupe, and his brother, Eddie.
A service to honor Salvador's life and legacy will be held at Utah Veterans Memorial Park on July 7th at 10 am. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirited personality and memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
