Samantha Claire Jensen 1937-2022
Samantha (Sam) Claire Jensen passed away on April 18, 2022. Samantha was the daughter of Virgil and Faye Winterbottom from Paris, Idaho. She married Roger Clinton Burdick in 1956 (deceased). They had five children, two boys Alan Roger Burdick, Bruce C. Burdick and three daughter’s Cathy, Diane and Ellen Burdick. She married Monte Sanders (divorced) and went on to have four more children Monte Frayne Sanders, Julie Ann Revill, and twins Michael and Mark Sanders. Samantha is survived by hers sons Alan Burdick (Debbie), Bruce Burdick (Patricia), Frayne Sanders, Julie Revill and Michael Sanders (Paula), 14 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
Samantha was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling on leagues for a very long time. She loved her children and her two shitzu puppies Pixee (her baby girl) and Willie. Samantha was a huge Denver Broncos and Utah Utes fan and anyone that knew her knew that. She loved her purple hair and her personality definitely matched.
Samantha is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Faye Winterbottom, Her first husband Roger Burdick, Her daughter’s Cathy, Diane and Ellen Burdick, her son Mark Sanders, her brother’s Ken and Gary Winterbottom and a sister Marion all of whom we are sure are waiting with open arms to welcome her.
A celebration of life will be held and will be announced via Facebook if any would like to come. Samantha’s final resting place will be in the Bear Lake, Idaho area. So next time you're out there enjoying yourself around the lake rest assured she will be watching, so make sure you give her a wink.
