Sam was an extremely smart person. He taught me so much. He was my mentor in sailing, electronics and life. I have a tear in my eye as I write this. Will miss you very much old buddy.

I’m sorry to here about Sam, condolences to his family, Sam showed me lots of tricks to maintain my sail boat, and how to clean the bottom in your slip with out getting wet, lol, he will be missed.
Same was one of the people I've met in my life that I've tried to use as a role model. I can't think of any time that Sam lost his temper like many. Always quiet, quick to smile, and even quicker to lend a hand. My life is richer for having known him. Rest well mate. May your winds be fair, your seas calm, and your skies clear. Sail on.
