Sandra F Morris' Obituary
Our loving wife, mom, and grandma, Sandra F. Morris passed away May 21, 2023. Born June 27, 1956 in Salt Lake City to Raymond and Norma Fletcher, Sandy grew up as the middle of three girls. She graduated from Highland High School with many fond memories of her time and activities during those years. In June of 1978, she married her sweetheart, Wayne. She was a loving and dedicated mother to all five of her kids, supporting them and cheering them on in all their various activities. In addition, she held a variety of odd (and not so odd) jobs including phone book deliverer, intake specialist, and See’s Candy worker. Her favorite job, however, was being the best grandma to her 7 grandkids who were the light of her life. She was always looking for ways to bring a smile to their faces and could often be found with one or more child using her as a jungle gym.
Mom was always the life of the party, entertaining everyone with her big personality and great sense of humor, Diet Coke in hand. Often, to the embarrassment of her family, she made small talk with and told bad jokes to those who crossed her path. She was always looking for ways to serve others and had a special talent for lifting the downtrodden.
Sandy leaves behind her loving husband: Wayne, five children: Amanda, Phillip (Randi), Megan (Tom), Craig (Stephanie), Michael, and 7 grandchildren.
