Scott Ashley Jones' Obituary
Scott was born October 23, 1968 in Phoenix, Arizona to Norman Kay and Diane Harris Jones. He passed away May 31, 2019 at home in Midvale, Utah, after a 30 year fight with Lupus.
Scott graduated from East High School and from the University of Utah. He worked in the Emergency Management field. He was a hard worker, receiving Employee of the Year at Salt Lake Community College, and the Multiple Training Achievement award at Quantico, Virginia.
He is survived by his children, Steven Ashton Jones and Jens Shumway Jones; mother, Diane Jones; brother, Norman Brett Jones; sisters, Valerie Coyle and Marcie Jones. Preceded in death by his father, Normon Jones.
We will all miss him every day, but we are thankful he is no longer in pain.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7th, 1:00 pm at the LDS Church, 10600 South 260 East. A viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment will be Saturday, June 8th at the Blanding City Cemetery, Blanding, Utah.
