Scott Thomas Lamoreaux's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Scott Thomas Lamoreaux, of Saratoga Springs, UT, who left us on April 6, 2025.
His faith, personality, and warmth touched the lives of many.
Per Scott's wishes, cremation was chosen as the final disposition. Due to the time required for the cremation process,
his celebration of life date was delayed. We appreciate your understanding and the patience expressed during this period.
Scott Thomas Lamoreaux was born September 17th, 1963, in Murray, UT, to Thomas and Bonnie Lamoreaux. Scott attended Murray High School,
after which he became a certified Journeyman Glass Glazer. He met and married the love of his life, Mechelle Morrey, and the couple spent 26 blessed years together.
Best known for his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, he is also remembered for his culinary talent, music, and singing. Scott also enjoyed golfing, bowling, softball,
fishing, hunting, archery, astronomy, motorcycle riding, skiing, and painting happy trees.
He is survived by his wife, Mechelle Lamoreaux; daughters Makayla Jenkins (Trace), Brinette Lamoreaux, and Danielle Davis (Keaton) ; son Jordan Lamoreaux (Meadow).
In addition to his brothers Larry Lamoreux (Holly) and Mike Lamoreaux (Linda), and sister Robyn Skeem (Cody).
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bonnie Lamoreaux, brother Terry Lamoreaux, and sister Danette Lamoreaux.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Spanish Fork Cemetery (420 S 400E, Spanish Fork UT).
This will be immediately followed by a celebration of Scott's life, a reception, and a luncheon at Southworth Hall (116 W Center Street, Provo, UT).
