Scott Dean Markland's Obituary
Scott Dean Markland, age 47, passed away in his sleep on November 21st, 2022. He was born November 22nd, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Eugene and Julie Markland. He married Minta Perkins on September 20th, 1997 and had 2 children; Jerrik and Aspen Markland. Scott was best known for his unconditional love for his children and his obsessions of music and sports. You couldn’t talk to him without knowing about his kids, Metallica, or the Tennessee Titans. Meeting someone with that kind of passion doesn’t happen very often. Scott will live on through his children Jerrik and Aspen Markland, his parents, Gene and Julie Markland, siblings Dave (Denese) Markland, Pam Vacher, and Joan Marzo, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family, friends, and others who were touched by Scott are invited to his Celebration of Life held at a later date. We will grieve and support one another while reminiscing his life.
