I grew up with Scott from elementary school through high school. We lived in adjacent Wards and we were both very active in the Young Adults. I worked for Scott briefly during my senior year of college while he was the editor and publisher of the Wedding Scene Magazine. We were pretty close particularly during his first year or so of his marriage to Marilyn (Mert) and I was very sad to hear of their divorce years later. I admired Scott's ability as a salesman. He was a gifted entrepreneur. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.
I sat in front of Scott all through elementary school back in the days when they assigned seats alphabetically. I was Scott Sh., he was Scott Sp. We were friends all through Jr. High and Granite High and after. Then we went our separate ways, giving me many precious memories. May the Lord bless his family at this sad time, I know he loved you all dearly.
From one Scott S. to another, may Peace be with you.

Scott and I grew up together in the same neighborhood. He was close friend. We had many great experiences together. Scott was two years older and helped make the transition from grade school to jr high and high school easier. For a couple of years he and I would play guitar and sing at ward dances when the band took a break
He had a good grip on the harmony parts. He will be missed by many as well as my self. I look forward to seeing him again one day.
Dear Tami and Jeff, I was so very sorry to hear that Scott passed away recently. I have so many wonderful memories of him and your family as we all grew up together. He was seriously my favorite Sunday School teacher and we all loved him! Condolences to you and your family and I hope you find peace and comfort. Sincerely, Harli Griggs Zaugg
