I just found this and had the opportunity to read many of the comments people wrote. I didn’t know that much about Serge’s past because he was never a man to talk about himself or his accomplishments. He was truly humble, the kind of friend that is a true friend. From the moment I met him, we were not only neighbors…but fast friends. He lived a life devoted to his beliefs, in loving the Lord and serving others. I watched as he cared for his mother and his grandson. He was selfless and kind. I watched as he bravely fought the challenges involving his CA. He is and will be sorely missed. Most sincere condolences to Julie, Ardie, Frances and Taj—those family members I knew.

I worked with/for Serge over 30 years. He was a bright, amazingly organized natural leader with a deep understanding of our products and customers. A man of faith who lived a purpose driven life, he had a great sense of humor and tremendous courage. Most importantly, he was my friend. I will miss the lunches we shared, the politics we argued and the sporting clays we destroyed. My deepest sympathy to Julie and the rest of Serge’s family.

Many, many cherished memories of Serge, and the days we spent together as young men growing up in State College and talking over the years even when we lived far apart. Our careers in electronics started from our common interests in that, we had so much fun hacking on that stuff. His self-confidence and positive attitude really shone through, I sure will miss him greatly. My deep condolences to his family. He was a terrific person.

My memory of Serge is very recent, although I have many of my not-too-much-older cousin throughout the years. I'm so glad we were able to see each other much more after his move to Utah than in all those years he lived in Florida.

Serge has been such a great example of a disciple of Jesus Christ, and someone who could listen to my ravings about math and teaching, and understand me as well. Our last email exchange earlier this year was a great joy to me, as Serge expressed his wonderful, warm memories about traveling in Italy, and showed how much he loved spending time with his family, and how much he wanted to spend more time with them. I know he is enjoying his family on the other side now, and rejoice in his having fought the good fight, and kept the faith!

Serge has been part of our extended family for over 40 years, and was always one of the kindest people I know. He was not afraid to tackle a project if it would benefit someone else, and we have many happy memories with him. Like his parents, wife and sisters he was quick to smile and serve, and was good at putting others at ease. Those of us who knew him well are blessed to call him friend. We love you Serge - until we meet again 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
