Cousin Sean was the one who helped me to not feel so scared riding a horse. He helped me overcome my fear at a young age (probably around 5-8 yrs old & he was a young teenager).
I remember he took the reigns down in front of the horse & slowly walked around. He then asked if it was okay if we went a little faster. As I agreed we started he brought the horse up to a trot. What was once a fear of getting on this big animal who could buck me off, soon turned into giggles & laughter. I remember him turning around & smiling & laughing with me.
He always had me laughing with his amazing knack for telling stories.
He had an excellent sense of what good customer service was. He didn't care if they were rich or poor, famous or not, he treated them all with the same great customer service & as if they all were VIP's no matter their status.
He told me of a time he was on a plane as a flight attendant serving in First Class to someone that was like the Prince of some country back in the Middle East (or some other type of dignitary) & they were flying through turbulant weather. Which he said at times would have him hitting the ceiling with his serving cart. He was about to serve something to the prince & because of the turbulant weather the plane made a movement that caused him to involuntarily spill something on him. All his company was shocked & speechless at what just happened. He was probably wearing an over $300 shirt.
Sean with his amazing sense of humor says
"Oh like as if you were going to really wear that again?"
It caused everyone including the Prince to break up in laughter.
Another time he told me he took his dog for a walk in New York City. It had been raining or was raining. Because of the season His dog was wearing a sweater that was connected to the leash in some way. As he was walking along after crossing the street a man stops him that had probably seen him on a regular basis & points to a sweaterless dog across the street. "Is that your dog over there?" We were both just laughing as he was telling me.
He said Here I am walking with a dog leash & my dog's soaked sweater, but no dog(it had slipped right off of him) down the street while my dog is across the street just watching me & People are probably wondering "What is with this guy that walks a piece of soaked cloth along the streets of New York?"
He totally didn't realize that it had slipped right off of him.
He always had the best way of telling his stories & making you & everyone that heard it laugh.
(both stories are paraphrased to the best my memory can recollect)
We Love you Sean & you are missed!
