Shane Clay Saunders' Obituary
Shane Clay Saunders, 69, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
A devoted husband, dedicated father, loving brother, proud grandfather and great grandfather; Shane was known for his kind soul, strong opinions and unwavering love for his family. His happiest moments were spent sharing stories, camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and creating lasting memories that his family and friends will treasure forever.
Born on March 7,1957 in Salt Lake City to Ron and Loretta he was raised with strong values. He served his community as a mechanic for several years, earning respect for his dedication.
He is survived by his beloved wife Judy, his brothers David (Karen) and Kim (Cindy), his sister Heather (Lonnie), his children Travis (Christina), Kristy (Amber) and Joshua (Tammera), his grandchildren Cody (Breezy), Maesa (Kaleb), Mckinzi, Brooklynn, Shane, Alexis, Jasmine (Ezra), Mario (Lily), Justice, Deven (Liana), Kaylee, Mariah, Nathan, Makayla and 20 great grandchildren; all who were the joy of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ron and Loretta, his brothers Steven and Artie.
Shane cherished every moment with his grandkids and great grandchildren, leaving a lasting legacy of love and laughter.
Known for his passion for old cars, country music, riding motorcycles, fishing and camping. Shane was rarely seen without a smile especially when he was the one catching all the fish!

He loved all he knew and would want all those he held close to his heart to remember to take care of each other and enjoy each day you have
