Sharon Yvonne Adams' Obituary
Sharon Yvonne Adams, a beautiful soul with a spark all her own, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Farmington, Utah, surrounded by love. She was born on October 6, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent her 84 years living life on her own terms — full of personality, humor, and unwavering love.
Sharon loved her daughters fiercely, never missed her favorite shows, and had a true appreciation for music — especially the voices of Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. She was deeply grateful for her nurses and caretakers, whom she considered part of her extended family.
She was a woman of faith and a devoted Christian. We take comfort knowing that she is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved mother Virginia, her dear brothers Stan and Steve, and her cherished granddaughter Javonne. Her faith gave her strength, and we know without a doubt that we will see her again.
She is survived by her daughters: Jamie (Gary), Tobie (Clint), Darcy (Joe), and Shellie (Travis) — along with her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her spark forward.
If you knew Sharon, you knew she was unlike anyone else you’ve ever met. One of a kind. Full of sass, humor, and the kind of heart you don’t forget. We’ll miss her every day — especially her funny jokes, her bold personality, and her way of keeping us on our toes.
An open house to honor her life will be held at Shellie and Travis’s home on Friday, August 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1002 Springridge Circle in North Salt Lake. Friends and family are invited to drop by, share memories, and celebrate Sharon the way she’d want us to — with love, stories, and just a little bit of mischief.
“We’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day.”
