I always knew my mom was pretty, but now I look at pictures of her and realize just how beautiful she was. She taught me so much, and I miss her greatly. It's such a comfort to know that she is with her Savior and that, because of our Heavenly Father's plan of salvation, we can be an eternal family.
My sincere and deep sympathy to Mike and his Family. You and Sue have always been part of my memories of growing up and in particularly every November. Please know that we are all thinking of you and wishing you the very best that life has to offer. Thanks to both of you for being part of my life.
To Mike, and all the family, It has been a long time since we have had a lot of personal interaction with our cousin Susie, but she will always remain a bright star in our memories. When we had great times at the farm, when Sue, Ginger & I shared one big bedroom while she was in X-Ray school at Parkview Hospital, being in Sue & Mike's wedding (that was a huge thrill), going up to Fish Lake to help care for new babies.....there are lots of great memories. Sue was my wife 22 days short of 54 years. Because her mother and her mother's sisters lived into their 80s and 90s I thought that she would, too. I was looking forward to a 75th anniversary. She is gone all too soon. I love her still and miss her greatly. I held her hand and looked into her eyes as she breathed her last breath. I hope that she knew how much I loved her. It is a comfort to know that she is no longer in pain and that her spirit soars in heaven. I will meet with her again when it is my time to go. Till then I will treasure my memories of her and our life together.
I remember Sue with lots of fond memories. I am sad at her passing but happy in the knowledge she is pain free and in a joyous place. Heaven has gained but we have lost a good soul. My thoughts are with her family and friends. I remember her kind words when my own mother passed. I know she is missed.
I am a better person for having known Sue Carney; she touched my life, my heart and my soul. Thank you, Mrs. carney, for caring about me letting me be apart of your life.
Mom,
I miss you so much! You're the strongest person I've ever known. Even stronger that Dad, because you are a big part of his strength. I don't think I could have survived some of the hardships you endured, like losing Kathy on you birthday and Cameron on your anniversary. But you weathered all the storms with grace. No matter how bad your situation, you always had something to give to others. You would give your last dime with a smile on your face and love in your heart.
You were always there for us, no matter how badly we messed up in our lives. When we fell, you were there to help us up, but you also made sure we could stand on our own.
I pray that I live the rest of my life with your strength and generosity and that, when my time comes, I will be worthy of joining you in the Celestial Kingdom.

Mike: Let's remember the good times of our lives here on earth. How well we remember the days at Bloomfield Graded School where Sue and I started the first day of school together......... and continued until May of 1958 when we graduated together from LaGrange High School.
I have not seen either of you for some time. Be sure to call if you get close to LaGrange ever again.
