Sharon B. Carroll's Obituary
Sharon B Carroll returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully Saturday evening June 26, 2021 with her loving husband by her side.
Sharon was born August 25, 1940 to Harold and Maud Brown, in Sandy, Utah. She was the youngest of their 4 children. She loved being the baby sister to Connie Orgill, Claude Brown and Rodney Brown, all of whom proceeded her in death.
Sharon graduated from Jordan High School.
On February 7, 1959 She married the love of her life, James Phillip Carroll. (She always said that PHIL was her (“Foxy Big Red”). Their Anniversary this year celebrating 62 years together. Phil has given his all in the tender loving care that he has provided for his beautiful wife.
Together they raised their 4 children – James Chris Carroll (Kim Carroll), Casey Kline Carroll (Torey Carroll), Danielle Jones (Jeff Jones), and their beautiful sweet Michelle Carroll Talbot (that also proceeded her in death).
Sharon absolutely loved being a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She found such joy in being blessed with 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and now she has the privilege of meeting the new great-grandbabies that are due this year.
Sharon would tell you that her greatest accomplishment in her life is her family. She is so proud of each and every one of them.
She worked as a Real Estate Agent, and worked at First Health as a Medical Insurance intake coordinator. She was the Young Women’s President in her ward in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and the Relief Society President in the South Jordan 4th Ward. She also served as a Temple Worker in the Jordan River Temple. She has served in many other callings throughout the years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She loved the gospel and loved to serve others. Sharon was so much fun to be around. Her big outgoing personality was just so contagious! She loved people and loved making everyone her new lifelong friend. She loved being a part of big group activities and hosting big family gatherings. She wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. If you met her, you loved her!
We will all miss her so much, but, we know that her reunion with everyone that she loves on the other side is one of her big amazing parties.
We want to thank all of the wonderful friends and ward members from the South Jordan 4th Ward that have helped with Sharon’s care and the help that they have provided for Phil. We are grateful for your love and support and for all of the service you have given.
