Sheila Jackson Wood's Obituary
Sheila Jackson Wood returned to her Father in Heaven on August 24, 2017. She was surrounded by her family. Sheila was born on April 13, 1958 to Helen and Roland Jackson in Tacoma, WA. She was the second of seven children. She grew up in Washington, Utah, California, and Arizona. Sheila graduated from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ in 1976. While living in Arizona she met Andrew Wood. They were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple on March 23, 1979. Sheila and Andy moved to Utah and raised their family in Orem.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, singing and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a proud American and supported her husband and two of her sons during their multiple military deployments. Sheila graduated from Broadview University in 2016 with an Associates Degree in Medical Administration. Sheila was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings and was loved for her quiet supportive service. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Sheila is survived by her husband, her children, Jared (Ginger) Wood, Joshua (Sandra) Wood, Jessica (Ray) Fuqua, Jonathan Wood, 13 grandchildren, her mother, and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for August 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Orem Windsor 7th Ward (1405 N Main Street Orem, UT) building. A viewing will be held on August 29, 2017 at the Orem Windsor 7th Ward building from 6 to 8 PM and August 30 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM on prior to the funeral. Burial in the Orem City Cemetery will follow the funeral.
