She was one of my best friends in high school. We had a lot of fun doing things together and going to taster treat for spaceburgers homemade fries and real ice cream cones. I was one of the brides helpers at her wedding and I remember be very very sick but I came a helped anyway as I wasn’t missing her special event. She was a delightful person to be around Alway positive and happy. It was a great blessing to have her for a friend in my life. Love you always Shelley. God speed.

Shelley was my Young Women's leader growing up. She had such an amazing smile and a beautiful laugh. We had so much fun together. After I got married my husband and I moved into a new neighborhood. Our first day at church I saw Shelley! I was so excited to see her! She gave me a huge hug and the biggest smile. I'll never forget it. She always made me feel loved. I'm so grateful to know that I will see her again and that she'll be with her family as well.

Shelley was my Relief Society President for the short time I was in her ward. Her sincerity was apparent from the first moment I met her and was only rivaled by her selflessness. I remember Shelley from going on the Board tours with her. She was always so interested in learning about all the things and such a fun travelling companion, so funny and cute. I've missed her company on those trips ever since Val retired.

I'll forever remember Shelley during my high school years with Shanna! Her giving us a hard time for drinking so much mountain dew!! 🤣🤣Even years later when we reconnected and played bunko for years! Oh how I loved Shelley. I had many opportunities to be with her. We worked together at Robert M Payne MD’s office. We had a wonderful and hilarious time working together. Shelley and I also participated in many home parties. We sold a lot and bought a lot together. When I shared that Shelley had passed away my friend was so sad. She reminded me about attending a bridal shower for herself and getting to know Shelley better. We laughed about the gift Shelley gave her. It was clever and extremely funny. We were neighbors and worked together on many committees. She served others very well. She loved and cared for all. I’d see her out walking. She walked 3 miles. I walked 3 minutes with her. Shelley and I were diagnosed with cancer the same day. I will never forget that, ever. We shared tears and joys and sorrows and treatments and testimonies together. She had such a firm and faithful testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many times she lifted me as she shared her testimony. I love her and will miss her. I pray for Val and her children and grandchildren. She loved you all so much. May your hearts be comforted at this time of sorrow.
