I first got acquainted with Sherry and her family when they moved in across the street. They had 4 boys, we had 3 with one daughter. I was the Cub Committee Chair when Sherrie joined our pack. We went to 'POW WOW ". Once we had a picnic for Pack Meeting at Hunter Park. Sherrie was excited to have purple onions for our hogies and to go ice blocking! When she found out we were expecting our 5th child, she brought over some maternity pants etc for me- very supportive! When Tyson was born, the Christensen family came up to visit us at Cottonwood Medical. She adored our new baby boy! She welcomed our son Jared also, to play with Joshua and Jordan. She invited us over to dinner one night and provided the materials for us to help make "seek and find " bags for a charity I think. Sherrie always had a smile it seems. I found this in Sherry’s photos and needed to share here.
I remember when Sherry was in the Relief Society. She was always so friendly and kind always had a smile on her face. So happy to have been her friend. Love you Sherry.
Sherry and I worked together in Cub Scouts for several years. I was the Webelos leader. She was the Bear & Wolf leader as well as Cub Master. Together we made a great team. I loved working with Sherry. She made a difference in the lives of many boys. She will be missed.
I have known mammie many many years, she was my sidekick,I was the mastermind of many of pranks at work, and sherry was right there beside me.turning Ernie's office into a woman's bathroom,a crime scene, spraying the fart spray in the Engineer office.writing everybody poops on the big bosses white board.we had many laughs together, when I puked she puked, and we puked a lot.my favorite thing to do with Sherry, besides going out to eat.was the time we spent volunteering at the rest home, she had the biggest ❤️. friends like mammie only comes along once in a lifetime.she was the strongest person I know.rest in Peace mammie,I love you with all my heart.
It has been 50 years since she was born, so I can’t really say I remember that day. Births are so hectic. I do remember when I was remodeling the upstairs bedrooms on Russett Ave. She would crawl upstairs, then stiffen her body, and slide downstairs. She loved the BatCave I made for them, and she loved to take a big drink of glass of milk and stick her tongue out. You might say I taught her that. I will always remember her smile!
Sherry was 13 when I married her father. She was beautiful. She was an amazing cook and could cook and can with any adult women. As sick as she was, She would make extra soup and goodies and bring them to us and Kelly’s parents. I loved Christmas shopping for her when she was young. Later, we shopped on Amazon. Joe and I love you and will miss you forever.
Kelly, we love you! We are so grateful to you for the way you took care of her. We never had to worry about her care. I was utterly amazed at the skilled home nursing care plans you developed for her!
Josh, Jordan, Joel Adam, and Jaden, oh how she loved you! How proud of you she was!
She loved you and Kelly very much! Thank you for all the things you did for her!
Sherry, Dad and I and your mother love you and your family very much! You fought a good fight, kept a good course, and kept the faith. May God bless you always!

This picture made me smile. I'm just guessing Sherry picked it herself. What an example to all of us. She sure enjoyed sharing her yarns to help us all laugh.
Sherry, you will forever be loved. Looking forward to when I can hold you again. It will be a blink for you but seems like an eternity away for me at this moment. With all my love, Kelly Lee Christensen.
